Enid Mpumwire-Machayo is the Founder and Character Coach of Global Wellspring LLC, a grief, pre-marital, marriage & family counseling and conflict resolution company based in Northern Virginia that has been in operation for over three years. She coaches individuals devastated with their loss deal with the painful process of grief of any kind – she trains people how to reach into the depth of their grief and bring comfort and hope. She also helps individuals and couples manage personal and relational conflicts and does pre-marriage counseling. Enid received her Masters of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University in Virginia and Bachelors of Science degree in Human Services from Kennesaw State University in Georgia.
In addition, Enid is the CEO and Co-Founder of Global Inheritance, a non-profit organization that seeks to disrupt generational poverty in women from underserved backgrounds. She helps female teenagers by offering them access to education and internship opportunities in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. She helps create a pipeline of women in STEM fields to help close the gender gap in this traditionally male dominated industry. By continuing to introduce, educate, train and connect the girls to different STEM opportunities and empowering this community to realize these girls’ potential, we are unlocking realities for families not yet realized and adding diversity to this very important sphere of influence. Enid is also very passionate about her new project where she helps publish the first ever audio Bible for Ugandans and Africa, starting with the Runyankole language.
Before becoming an entrepreneur, Enid also served as a Partner Council Member for four years with Lifeschool International, a leadership ministry that equips African pastors and leaders with the skills needed to be more effective with their congregations. During her time with Lifeschool International, she coordinated and facilitated leadership training mission trips across Africa. Her mission was to train and equip faithful leaders to be effective and relevant leaders of their churches and communities. She also served as a Women’s Mentor and Youth Teacher for ten years at Mount Paran Church of God in Atlanta, GA.
Born in Uganda before moving to America in the mid-80s due to war in her home country, Enid developed a deep passion for empowering people both in America and Uganda. During leadership mission trips in Africa, she conceptualizes and delivers training workshops for rural women, empowering them to end generational poverty through renewing their minds and training in employable vocational skills like craft making. Enid also visits village clinics during her mission trips to provide counsel and encouragement to workers and to pray with the patients.
