I believe in a compassionate approach to counseling. I work collaboratively to understand internal and external challenges differently and explore new choices and ways to think and handle issues.
Sometimes, it is useful to renew our minds, change old thought patterns, habits, and behaviors, and replace them with victorious thinking and hopeful anticipation for the future.
My counseling also focuses on developing new skills for handling one’s emotions and relationships, decreasing suffering, and working more effectively towards the goals you care deeply about.
I work with individuals facing grief, significant life changes, relational conflicts, and a range of other issues. I also work with couples on premarital counseling.
My work is grounded in positive thinking. I face difficult issues while cultivating the positive, health-promoting qualities of empathy, compassion, meaning, confidence, self-esteem, and joy.
I have two Master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Counseling, a BS in Human Services, and years of experience.
