Resident in Counseling | Trauma-Informed & Multicultural Psychotherapist

Meet Enid, M.A.

“My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel empowered to overcome obstacles, deepen self-awareness, and thrive both personally and relationally.”

Welcome & Therapeutic Philosophy

As a dedicated therapist, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change. My work is grounded in compassion, cultural humility, and the belief that every person has the capacity for growth and healing.

Central to my practice is cultural awareness and sensitivity. I take a collaborative, client-centered approach to therapy. I believe that healing begins with understanding and that lasting change is possible when individuals learn to develop healthier coping strategies and cultivate hope for the future.

In addition to my clinical work, I actively contribute to community leadership and mental health advocacy across Virginia, promoting access to quality care, informed practices, and holistic support for individuals from all walks of change.

Specialized Services & Community Work

Court-Approved Co-Parenting Education

In addition to providing psychotherapy, I facilitate court-approved co-parenting education classes. This work has further strengthened my expertise in family dynamics, conflict resolution, effective communication, and child-centered decision-making. It has deepened my understanding of the challenges families face during separation and divorce, enhancing my ability to support parents in fostering healthy parent-child relationships and promoting children’s emotional well-being during transitions.

Community Leadership & Advocacy

I am deeply committed to challenging mental health stigma in different cultures and diaspora communities. In my free time, I co-founded a nonprofit that creates pathways for underserved high school girls in Northern Virginia, helping break barriers to women entering the STEM industry through education, work-based learning programs, internships, and leadership development.
